FRAGILE
HADZA
The Hadza, who live nomadically in the dry savannah in north-east Tanzania, only use their fragile huts, which they build from branches, grasses and palm branches, for a short time. When they move on, they leave them to decay. As hunter-gatherers, they walk with minimal luggage, which they use to furnish their huts. With their resolute attitude, the Hadza manage to hold on to their way of life and thus their architecture in today’s Tanzania.
