RELIEF
DUPA, FULANI AND MBORORO
The Dupa traditionally live in the north of Cameroon as a mountain tribe near the border with Nigeria. They build food caches out of clay, which they place on stones and climb up to fill and empty them. For this purpose, there are reliefs on the clay body that can be used as climbing aids. The Dupa cover the reservoirs with roofs made of plant materials that can be folded back to open. However, the mountain villages with the granaries tend to be abandoned as the Dupa move into the valley.
